Complications
Back pain of any origin can lead to the following complications:[1]
- Deformity
- Long term disabiliy
- Depression
- Weight gain
- Social distancing
- Decreased quality of life
- Sleep disturbances
Prognosis
Prognosis varies according to the underlying etiology:
- Most patients will recover with within weeks.
- Recurrent and chronic cases are more resistant to treatment.
