Other Imaging Findings
- Bone scan is used to diagnose and monitor infection, fracture, or disorders in the bone. Pathologies including bone metastases, osteomyelitis, and some benign skeletal lesions can be detected with a bone scan.[1]
- Thermography may be used to detect the presence or absence of nerve root compression, especially when the sympathetic nerves are involved.[2]
