Overview
Computerized tomography (CT) is considered when MRI is not an option. It is used if disc rupture, spinal stenosis, or damage to vertebrae is suspected as a cause of back pain. CT scan can be paired with a myelogram by injecting contrast dye in the spinal cord.
CT
- Computerized tomography (CT) is considered when MRI is not an option.[1]
- It is used if disc rupture, spinal stenosis, or damage to vertebrae is suspected as a cause of back pain.
- CT scan can be paired with a myelogram by injecting contrast dye in the spinal cord.
