Sudden cardiac death (SCD) often happens without warning Symptoms related to arrhythmia or underlying heart disease within one hour before cardiac arrest and are usually drastic.
Symptoms

- Palpitation
- Lightheadedness
- Syncope
- Chest pain
- Dyspnea at rest or on exertion
- Orthopnea
- Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea (PND), and
- Edema.
