Camptodactyly is a medical condition involving fixed flexion deformity of the interphalangeal joints of the little finger.

Causes

A number of congenital syndromes may cause camptodactyly: -

• Jacobsen syndrome

• Gordon syndrome
• Jacobs arthropathy-camptodactyly syndrome

• Tel Hashomer camptodactyly syndrome
• Toriello-Carey syndrome

Etymology

The name is derived from the ancient Greek words kamptos (bent) and daktylos (finger).
