Overview
These drugs are used in the treatment of heart disease patients to slow the heart rate down, and to reduce the risk of irregular or fast heart beats. They can also be used to reduce the blood pressure. One side effect is an increases risk of wheezing or a worsening of lung congestion due to heart failure.
