Recently, the preferred form of surgical treatment for Ewing's sarcoma has changed. In the past, the primary technique for eliminating Ewing's sarcoma was to amputate the affected [[limb]]. [[Limb salvage]] has nearly replaced [[amputation]] and this has been done without compromise to the patients long term survival rates.
