Signs
- Pallor (pale skin, mucosal linings and nail beds) is often a useful diagnostic sign in moderate or severe anemia, but it is not always apparent. Commonly seen in nail bed or palm crease, and conjunctiva.
- Cheilosis
- Koilonychia.
