"1. Use of nutritional supplements as treatment for heart failure is not indicated in patients with current or prior symptoms of heart failure and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). (Level of Evidence: C) "

Hormonal Therapies in Patients Presenting With Heart Failure (DO NOT EDIT)

Class III (No Benefit)

"1. Hormonal therapies other than to replete deficiencies are not recommended and may be harmful to patients with current or prior symptoms of heart failure and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). (Level of Evidence: C) "
