MRI
MRI in patients with hepatitis B may be done to:
- Exclude biliary obstruction
- To assess for hepatic cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.
The MRI findings may include nodular appearance, splenomegaly and ascites in case of portal hypertension in patients with hepatic cirrhosis.
