Physical Examination

• Abdominal tenderness is present in 90% of patients
• Cervical motion tenderness is present in 67% of patients
• A palpable mass is present in ~ 50% of patients

• Signs of rupture include tachycardia, orthostasis, rebound tenderness and guarding
