Complications
- Meckel diverticulitis: Meckel diverticulitis is acute inflammation of a Meckel's diverticulum.
- Hemorrhage
- Intussusception
- Peritonitis
- Perforation of the bowel
Prognosis
Full recovery can be expected with surgery.
