Oophoritis is an inflammation of the ovaries.

- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Mycoplasma
- Nisseria gonorrhoeae
- Staphylococcus
- Streptococcus
- Ureaplasma urealyticum

It is often seen in combination with salpingitis (inflammation of the fallopian tubes). It is also a complication of mumps.
