Overview
There are no pathognomonic laboratory findings for Chikungunya virus infection. Laboratory abnormalities include mild thrombocytopenia (>100,000/mm3), leukopenia, and elevated liver function tests. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein are usually elevated.[1]
Laboratory Findings
Clinical laboratory findings can include lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, elevated creatinine, and elevated hepatic transaminases.
