Overview
On gross pathology, thickened, rigid, leather bottle-like stomach from diffuse infiltration of the stomach wall by the tumor cells are characteristic findings of linitis plastica.[1] On microscopic histopathological analysis, signet ring cells, [feature2], and feature3] are characteristic findings of [disease name].
Pathophysiology
Gastric adenocarcinoma is the most common gastric cancer accounting to almost 95% of the same.
