Overview
Common risk factors in the development of blepharitis are dry eye syndrome (Staphylococcal blepharitis), dermatologic conditions (acne rosacae, seborrheic dermatitis), demodicosis (chronic blepharitis), lice, and [allergies]].[1][2]

Blepharitis may be linked to repeated styes and chalazia. Common risk factors in the development of blepharitis include:[1][2]
