Overview

Bronchiolitis first case reported returns back to 1899 when it was discovered by members of university of Minnesota. The disease was fully described in 1901 by Dr. Lange.

Historical Perspective

• In 1899, bronchiolitis obliterans was first reported among 43,000 autopsies performed by university of Minnesota member.
• In 1901, Dr. Lange was the first to describe the disease and endorsed it as a pathological entity.
