Screening

Screening for hypogonadism is recommended by the endocrine society. It is recommended in men who are thought to be at high risk of having hypogonadism. Screening is performed in men showing the following:

• Erectile dysfunction
• Infertility
• HIV infected individuals
• Men who got exposed to radiation on the brain
• Young patients with osteoporosis.
