Laboratory Findings
- Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome include:
- Elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
- Anemia
- Leukopenia
- Thrombocytopenia
- Eosinophilia
- Hypergammaglobulinemia
- Presence of anti-SSA/Ro, anti-SSB/La
- Presence of rheumatoid factor (RF)
- Presence of anti–alpha-fodrin antibody (diagnostic marker of juvenile Sjögren's syndrome)
- Elevation in Creatinine (Cr)
- Proteinuria or cellular casts and hematuria
