X-Ray
The following x-ray findings may be observed in patients suffering from adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD):
Early disease
- Affected joints may exhibit the following changes:
- soft tissue swelling
- Joint effusion
- Mild periarticular demineralisation
Late disease
- Affected joints may exhibit the following:
- Intercarpal and carpometacarpal joint space narrowing (JSN)
- Ankylosis (late finding)
- Articular erosions
