Physical Exam
- General findings in hypokalemia include:
- Skeletal muscle weakness
- Paralysis, paresthesias
- Constipation
- Abdominal pain
- Psychosis, delirium, or hallucinations
- Depression
- Decrease deep tendon reflexes
It depends on the underlying cause. Fore example if the etiology is eating disorder you may find tooth erosion or in patients who takes diuretics, hypotension may be found.
