Overview
The diagnostic study of choice for diagnosing an infection with Enterovirus D68 is reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
Diagnostic Study of Choice
The reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is considered the method of choice for the isolation of EV-D68, particularly for examining respiratory secretions and CSF.[1][2][3]
