- CT scan of the chest and abdomen may use to detect merkel cell carcinoma metastasis.[1]
- CT scan of the abdomen may shows
- Retroperitoneal and peripancreatic adenopathy.
- Involvement of the lower left anterior chest wall
- Involvement of the ribs
- CT scan of the head and neck may be also used to find merkel cell carcinoma that has spread to regional lymph nodes.
- CT scan of the head may demonstrates a soft-tissue nodule in merkel cell carcinoma.
