Overview
CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of fibroadenoma. Though not the diagnosis of choice, an oval mass with well defined borders can be seen on CT.[1]

- CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of fibroadenoma.
- CT scan is not the primary method for evaluating the breast. Usually, breast lesions are found incidentally while interpreting chest scans.[2]
- Findings on CT scan suggestive of fibroadenoma include:[2]
- Oval mass
- Well-defined borders
- Calcified or non calcified nodule
- Heterogeneous enhancement
