History
- The history of coronavirus infection includes exposure to the infected animals or humans.

- The incubation period varies depending on the infection.
- The incubation periods for coronavirus infections are given below:
SARS-CoV
- The symptoms (cough) of SARS-CoV infection start to appear after 2 - 7 days.[4]
- The incubation period ranges from 12 to 18 days.[5]
MERS-CoV
- The symptoms of MERS start to appear approximately 5 or 6 days after exposure to the source of infection.[6]
- The incubation period can range from 2 - 14 days.
2019-nCoV
- The incubation period for 2019-nCoV is set according to the observed data and the incubation periods of the previous coronavirus infections.
- It can range from 2 to 14 days.
