Symptoms When pain occurs, the woman experiencing dyspareunia may be distracted from feeling pleasure and excitement. Based on the underlying cause, there are different associated symptoms. In male, continuous pain in the genital or pelvic region which occurs during or after sexual activity and is recurrently present for more than three months It may be associated with a burning sensation along with the pain or irritation of the skin on the penis with a rash formation or lack of sexual desire, inability to get aroused, inability to experience orgasm
