Cryptogenic stroke
In neurology, Cryptogenic stroke is stroke of undetermined source.
One cause is paradoxical embolism that may be treated with patent foramen ovale closure[1][2].
One cause is Atrial fibrillation[3][4].
For cryptogenic stroke on unknown source, anticoagulation may not help over aspirin[5].
