Overview
Other Imaging Findings
- Arteriography
- Gall bladder arteriography is a useful diagnostic modality to differentiate acute calculous and acalculous cholecystitis.
- It reveals marked differences between acute calculous and AAC in humans (9). Whereas gallstone-related disease is associated with arterial dilatation and extensive venous filling, AAC is associated with multiple arterial occlusions and minimal to-absent venous filling.
