Overview
MRI and CT
CT scan of the brain may not be helpful as a routine investigation of delirium. It is indicated in following cases :
- Focal neurological signs
- Confusion developing after head injury
- Confusion developing after a fall
- Evidence of raised intracranial pressure[1]
