CT
- Brain MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of oligodendroglioma.
- Findings on MRI suggestive of oligodendroglioma are listed below:
- Round or oval sharply marginated mass involving the cortex or subcortical white matter
- Hypodense to isodense
- Calcification (70-90%)
- Hemorrhage
- Overlying skull may show pressure erosion
- Ill-defined enhancement following intravenous contrast material administration
