Overview

Head and neck CT scan may be diagnostic of retinoblastoma. Findings on CT scan suggestive of retinoblastoma include retrolental mass that is usually calcified and a dense vitreous due to haemorrhage.[1]

CT scan

CT demonstrates a contrast-enhancing retrolental mass that is usually calcified. A dense vitreous due to haemorrhage is also common. Direct spread may occur into the orbit or occur along the optic nerve into the brain. Distant metastases are less common.[1]
