Overview
Cardiac myxomas are classified by the WHO histological classification of tumors of the heart, as "Benign tumors and tumor-like lesions"[1]
Classification
According to the WHO histological classification, cardiac myxomas belong to a type of pluripotent mesenchymal tumors.[2]
