Classification

Clincal features of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) occur in three stages.

First Stage (Primary LGV)

• Characterized by small, painless papule that may ulcerate
• Appears at site of inoculation
• Frequently unnoticed by patients
• Papule is self-limited
