Overview
Natural History

Complications
Common complications of myelofibrosis include:[2][3][4]
- Acute myelogenous leukemia
- Infections
- Bleeding
- Blood clots
- Hepatic failure
- Gout
- Bone marrow failure
- Hypertrophic osteoarthropathy
Prognosis
- Prognosis of myelofibrosis is poor, with slow progression and death usually within 2-3 years.[5]
