Treatment

The management of rhinitis is mainly medical. Treatment for seasonal rhinitis is only needed during the appropriate time of the year. Current treatments include:

• Antihistamine pills and sprays

• Leukotriene antagonists

• Nasal corticosteroid sprays

• Decongestant pills or sprays

• Allergen immunotherapy
