In the united states, the incidence of psittacosis is 0.01 per 100,000 persons.

Age

Psittacosis commonly affects the middle aged, between the ages of 35 and 55.

Gender

Gender is not associated with increase risk of psittacosis.

Race

Race is not associated with increase risk of psittacosis.
