Laboratory Findings
Pituitary apoplexy may cause temporary or permanent endocrinopathies from hypofunction of the pituitary gland.[1] Blood tests will be done to check levels of:
- ACTH
- Cholesterol
- Cortisol
- FSH
- Growth hormone
- LH
- Prolactin
- Somatomedin C (IGF-1)
