Overview
Abdominal CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of Whipple's disease. Findings on CT scan suggestive of [Whipple's disease] include thickening of small bowel folds and enlarged abdominal lymph nodes. CNS involvement may present with associated CT findings depending on type of lesion.

- enlarged and bulky mesentric and retroperitoneal lymph nodes
- Head CT scan finding may be normal or may show:[1]
- cerebral atrophy
- focal lesions
- hydrocephalus
