Damage-specific DNA binding protein 2, 48kDa, also known as DDB2, is a human gene.
DDB2 is the smaller subunit of a heterodimeric protein implicated in the etiology of xeroderma pigmentosum group E. This subunit appears to be required for DNA binding.[1]
