- Chronic infection
- Congenital biliary cysts
- Medications like oral contraceptive pills, methyldopa, and isoniazid
- Carcinogen exposure like oil, paper, chemical, shoe, textile, and cellulose acetate fiber manufacturing industries and radon
- Obesity
- Elevated blood sugar
