Overview
There are no MRI findings associated with linitis plastica. However, a chest, abdomen or pelvic MRI may be helpful in the detection of local invasion and metastasis to or from linitis plastica and the liver, breast and lungs. stomach. MRI is also thought to be just as accurate as CT in staging tumors.
