Arteriography
- Gallbladder arteriography is a useful diagnostic modality to differentiate between acute calculous and acalculous cholecystitis.[1]
- In cases of gallstone disease, there is noticeable arterial dilatation with extensive venous filling.
- In acalculous gallstone disease, multiple arterial occlusions with minimal to-absent venous filling are noticed.
