HUS may be classified according etiology tinto 4 subtypes:
- HUS (D+HUS) [1]
- non-diarrhea-associated HUS (D−HUS) that also called atypical HUS[1]
- Streptococcus pneumoniae‐associated HUS[2]
- Diacylglycerol kinase‐ε (DGKE)‐associated HUS[2]
