Findings on MRI suggestive of vulvar cancer
Pelvic MRI
Pelvic MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of vulvar cancer. Findings on MRI suggestive of vulvar cancer include:[1][2]
- Staging of the tumor
- Assessing extent of disease
- Selecting operable versus inoperable candidates
- Evaluating inguinal and/or femoral node involvement (the most significant prognostic factor for survival)
