Overview
Findings on ECG that may be seen in some patients with patent foramen ovale include:
- Crochetage pattern: An M-shaped bifid notch on the ascending branch, or on the zenith, of the R wave in inferior ECG leads (II, III, aVF).
- Right bundle branch block (RBBB)
- P wave abnormalities
