History and Symptoms

• The main symptom of infertility is the inability to become pregnant. Specific symptoms depend on what is causing the infertility.
• Some women may have a history of oligomenorrhea, polymenorrhea or amenorrhea.
• Women who are infertile as a result of PCOS may have symptoms of dysmenorrhea, irregular periods, acne, hirsutism, weight gain etc.
• Infertility can cause many painful emotions in one or both partners.
