Cardiac CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of the causes of cardiac arrest by evaluation of the following:

• LV volumes
• Ejection fraction
• Cardiac mass
• Anomalous origin of coronary arteries
• Coronary arteries calcification
• Pulmonary embolism
• Aorta dissection
