Overview
Findings on Biopsy
- Interstitial fibrosis was observed in 5/5 patients with isolated noncompaction cardiomyopathy who underwent right ventricular biopsy[1]
- Endomyocardial thickening and subendocardial fibroelastosis was observed in 3/5 patients who underwent right ventricular biopsy
- Myocyte necrosis has been observed in areas of trabeculation [2][3].
