Overview

Lung pathologies usually causes hypoxia and confusion if untreated. Chest x ray is the most important tool to evaluate in such conditions. It helps in identifying various lung lesions and infections.

Chest X Ray

Lung pathologies like respiratory failure, respiratory depression, infections are one of the main causes of confusion. Chest x ray aids in diagnosis of these condition's. It is useful to identify co morbid condition even if cause of confusion is not primarily from lung. It has a significant role to play in elderly individuals admitted to hospital.
