Cervical rib syndrome

Overview
Cervical Rib Syndrome is a disease state in which there is compression of the subclavian artery, subclavian vein, and brachial plexus at the site of the thoracic outlet caused by a cervical rib or fascial band connecting the tip of a cervical rib with the first thoracic rib.

- Pain in the neck
- [[Pain in the shoulder radiating into the upper extremity
- PARESIS and or PARALYSIS of muscles innervated by the brachial plexus innervated muscles;
- Sensory loss
- PARESTHESIAS
- Limb ischemia
- EDEMA [1]
